The Overview

Education With a Side of Sweetness

BeeFarm, in Western New York, offers local honey with a side of education. Owners Dave and Mike are passionate about building relationships between people and bees, and aim to share that passion with the masses through their sanctuary. 


This is a mock project. The BeeFarm, as sweet as it sounds, is made up. 


The Need

The BeeFarm had been in operation for a few years, but despite a consistent hum of foot traffic driven by TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews, the sanctuary wasn’t establishing an audience that translated into an online following. In addition, the BeeFarm was not seeing repeat customers or consistent word-of-mouth, despite a handful of rave reviews about the experience. 


The Partnership

Something to Buzz About 

Miraven was brought onboard to build a grassroots-inspired branding package that would give visitors (and Western New York residents) something to buzz about. With retro colors, a give-it-to-you-straight (but sincere) personality, and relevant thumb-stopping imagery, we created a brand that draws consumers towards the warmth and uniqueness that only the BeeFarm provides.
